Man Builds Two Kitty Towers For His Cats And So Many People Want It, He’s Gonna Start Selling Them
Cats are naturally very good climbers so it’s no surprise they like perching on high places. Whether it’s a shelf, a kitchen cabinet or the top of the refrigerator, felines feel very comfortable when they are up looking down on their surroundings.
Recently, Rob Coutu from Windsor, Connecticut, had some extra free time and decided to build his cats two epic towers. The well-crafted towers provide his kitties entertainment and comfort while looking absolutely amazing. In fact they have been so well perceived, Rob is planning on selling them!
“I have two cats, a red tabby and a Savannah cat” sad Rob, adding that the Savannah likes the towers so much, he has taken over both of them and doesn’t want to let the tabby use them.
The idea began when Rob saw a real looking cat tree that was shared online. However, the BIM manager just could not get the design settled in his mind so he decided to build one he knew would be fun and practical but look sharp for both the cats and the humans as well.
“The larger tower was built last and is almost complete,” Rob explained. “It incorporates some design changes based on how the cats interacted with the first one, such as the balconies and the deck landings. The dormer came from Zach, the Savannah, always looking up inside the roof of the other one.”
