It’s not the case that you have to be a tree nut to respect the environment, not at all and happily there is some amazing stuff we can do to help the planet.

They might well seem small and unimportant, but bees have a huge task, nearly a third of the food we eat is pollinated by these little insects

plant a couple of Texas Sagebrush on your property. Not only does it feed the bees, but it feeds butterflies, hummingbirds, other birds and insects. The Sagebrush can grow as a tree or as a well trimmed bush. The tree withstands drought and heat. It even likes a little snow. I planted one near the front door not realizing it would draw so many bees. My husband is DEADLY allergic to bees but so far they are too interested in the bush. Very nice looking bush too.
